Our hotel receptionist positions are within the 2 largest Esprit hotel teams we have in the Alps. A challenging and rewarding position that requires the ability to provide a constant support to the management team with administrative work, cash handling and for the most part an exceptional standard of customer service.
Working in the heart of the hotel and making sure the guests’ holidays run smoothly, meeting their requests and organising entertainment or external requirements including ski schools bookings and equipment hire for example.
The reception is the area that gives a first and lasting impression to our guest so you will also be responsible for the housekeeping not only of the reception but also surrounding area. You will be required to be organised and calm to complete all tasks with a smile.
Working in a ski resort is not all about hard work though. As part of your package you’ll get a lift pass and ski or snowboard equipment for the season and so will have opportunity to enjoy the surrounding slopes within which you will work hard and play hard.
On top of this you’ll be generally be provided with an package of benefits covering; all travel costs, accommodation costs and utility bills, all meals, medical insurance, and of course a monthly salary.
Fluent conversational French in a working business environment is the essential skill for one of the limited amount of hotel receptionists. The most desirable skill is customer service experience. It's also advisable to do as much research into the company you are applying to and the role you are applying for.
