Winter is well on the way in Europe, with the number of ski resorts open growing by the week.
The slopes above Engleberg, St Moritz and Cervinia are opening this weekend, as well as the fun park in Kaprun. Les Deux Alpes is also due to open next weekend. Skiing and boarding is already possible in Zermatt and Saas-Fee in Switzerland, Hintertux, Solden and Piztal in Austria and on the Grande Motte glacier in Tignes, France.
So if you've already got a ski job this season, you'd better do a last minute check of your stuff!

Norway has seen the number of visitors to their ski resorts increase yearly by 5% - 6%, but is now looking to increase those numbers by promoting family tourism.
At the moment most of the visitors to the resorts are currently Norwegians, but the Tourism Council of Norway are now focussing on attracting more International visitors. Some of the benefits Norway has to offer is that resorts like Trysil and Hemsedal, are within easy reach of airports, and lift passes cost less than Austria.
With more families visiting Norway, the chances of getting a ski job there are set to increase.
