New Zealand is becoming more and more popular for people looking for ski jobs. The reason is simple their season runs from May to October, they have a great snow record and amazing terrain to explore on your board or skis.
Most of the resorts in New Zealand are on the South Island. The resorts here are varied and are pretty close to one another. The Southern Alps of New Zealand provide some seriously fine skiing and boarding with 500km of mountain ranges to explore.
As New Zealand's winter season is opposite to Europe’s it means you can end up skiing or boarding all year round if you plan your 12 month season in advance. It also means if you happen to miss the season in the Northern Hemisphere you can always head here. Just remember to apply early, as ski jobs in New Zealand are usually in great demand.
