There are loads of ski jobs out there but if you would like to work in a resort that will allow you to experience great alpine views without the queues then Samoëns is where you will want to spend your season.
The resort offers extensive skiing and boarding at all levels, and is part of the Grand Massif. The ancient village is surrounded by cliffs and mountains. Besides the runs that suit all abilities there is also a terrain park and cross country skiing if you fancy a change to your normal day activities.
If you like French ambience rather than the ex-pat style of Espace Killy, then this is where you want to spend your winter season. The après ski is relatiely quiet though and most of the bars close early so this is not the place for wild nights! If you are looking for a lively late night bar though, check out Convey's Irish Pub, which is open til 1.30am, and offer live music, DJs and even a curry night! A good thing about working in Samoëns is the bars and restaurants are pretty good value for a seasonaires salary, so you might still have some money left at the end of the season!
