Looking for ski jobs in a resort that has an enormous ski area, fantastic night life, great off piste and world class tree skiing - then Morzine is where to work a winter season.
Morzine is the best base from which to explore the enormous Portes du Soleil area. The stretched out ski slopes offer both beginner and professional resort workers the opportunity to enjoy the fabulous snowfields and the extraordinary alpine scenery.
The growth of the resort means that if you're staying at the far end of town you'll probably have to catch a bus to get to the lifts. You may find the centre, resembling a boozy summer resort rather than a pretty Alpine but if you into après ski where else would you want to be?
There’s never a problem in finding somewhere suitable to kick back so its not just work work work. Après ski in Morzine is resort-based, and it is almost as important as the skiing itself.
Le Dixie has pool tables, games, live rugby and football on the big screens and usually live music in the early evening. Crépuscule is small, busy, full of Dutch and Swedes, but be warned you might not get around to taking off your boots until bedtime. For a more chilled evening (especially if you have work in the morning) check out Le Rhodos, relaxing music, free newspapers and comfy sofas - and betting at the PMU counter.
It's no surprise that Morzine is always popular with resort workers, so make sure you apply early!
